"Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wilderness is a necessity." - John Muir

"Travel makes you modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in this world." - Gustave Flaubert

"No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old, familiar pillow." - Lin Yutang

"Live for the moments you can't put into words."

"It's when you're safe at home that you wish you were having an adventure. When you're having an adventure you wish you were safe at home." - Thornton Wilder

"In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks." - John Muir

"Few places in this world are more dangerous than home. Fear not, therefore, to try the mountain passes. They will kill care, save you from deadly apathy, set you free, and call forth every faculty into vigorous, enthusiastic action." - John Muir

Photography was never something I was super drawn to until I moved to Arizona for a few years after college. While in AZ I found myself hiking and camping every weekend I had off from work and I started seeing a lot of cool places that I wanted to share with the rest of the world. So after months of research I decided to purchase a camera right before my brother and I camped the entire HWY 1 on the Pacific coast. I decided on purchasing the Canon 6D and a Canon 16-35mm f/4 USM IS lens to go with it. It wasn't a cheap investment but since then it has driven me to travel, get outside, go on adventures and see places that I otherwise probably wouldn't have. I have since purchased a Canon 70-200mm telephoto lens and a Rokinon 14mm lens for some astrophotography. Right now my passion is photographing landscapes but I also have a large interest in photographing agriculture and have shot a few occasional engagement shoots a well.

My Mission: Travel the world while taking photos of people and places along the way. "It's better to see something once than hear about it 1000 times."

My Goal: Inspire others through my photos to take a new adventure to places they have only seen in pictures or heard of but never actually visited.

There’s a whole world out there just waiting to be explored. As a photo enthusiast I thoroughly enjoy traveling our beautiful planet attempting to catch glimpses of God's incredible creations.

Photography gives a person that priceless feeling of being able to bring oneself back to that exact moment in time when a photo was taken. In each of my photos taken I can remember how the sun felt on my face; the sound of waves crashing along the shoreline; the smell of wild flowers on a mountainside or the sight of trees bending in the gusting winds; and most importantly who I shared that exact moment in time with.

That feeling of bringing back all those sensations and memories in an instant by simply glancing at a specific photo is so powerful and special to me. Not many things in life are able bring back those feelings so quickly. Memories are timeless when photographed.
